Pray With Us During the Solemn Novena to St. Jude

When we gather together to celebrate the Solemn Novena to St. Jude, we are engaging in one of the oldest and most remarkable
traditions of faith. For nine days we offer up our needs, our gratitude, and our hope. We trust in St. Jude to intercede for us,
and in this trust we can take great comfort.

Join Us in Prayer

DAY 1: Saturday, June 15th

Today we center ourselves in peace as we begin nine days of Solemn Novena prayer. St. Jude listens to our prayers, and offers us hope for every intention. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, Patron of Hope, on this first day of our journey in prayer together, I offer you all that I carry deep within my heart. My fears at times get the best of me. Calm my heart, so I might better trust in God, who loves and comforts me.

DAY 2: Sunday, June 16th

On this 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we honor our fathers and father figures in our lives as we begin the second of nine days of Solemn Novena prayer with a special intention to St. Jude. Intention to St. Jude: Our fathers encourage us with hope in the face of life’s challenges. Lord, bless our fathers with health, wisdom, and faith. May our departed fathers know the peace of heaven. St. Jude, pray for our fathers and all who have shaped our lives.

DAY 3: Monday, June 17th

On this third day of Solemn Novena prayer, we join together in the belief that there is power in praying with and for one another’s petitions. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, open my eyes to the beauty and goodness that surround me, so I may see God’s blessings in the events of the week. Inspire my thoughts, words, and actions, so they may all help me grow closer to God.

DAY 4: Tuesday, June 18th

Today we begin the fourth day of the Solemn Novena as we remember the importance that prayer plays in our lives. From prayer one draws the strength needed to meet the challenges of daily life as a committed follower of Jesus Christ, and to be a living sign of the Lord’s loving presence in the world. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, give me the strength to be patient with myself, my family, and all those I will meet, so that I may be a living witness of God’s love. Be with me so that I may recognize the opportunities God gives me to reach out to others in His name.

DAY 5: Wednesday, June 19th

Today we begin the fifth of nine days of Solemn Novena prayer with St. Jude as we remember all those for whom we have promised to pray. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, your love for the Lord Jesus inspired you to leave everything and follow him. I ask your blessing, that I might know and experience deep love for Jesus.

DAY 6: Thursday, June 20th

On this sixth of nine days of Solemn Novena prayer, we offer our prayers together. Today I recognize how my Novena makes me stronger in faith and grace. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, I pray for peace in the world. May your healing presence touch the hearts of world leaders, so they might work together in good faith to bring an end to all wars.

DAY 7: Friday, June 21st

Today we mark the first day of summer as we give ourselves over to trust in God on the seventh of nine days of Solemn Novena prayer to St. Jude. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, I pray that all those who are baptized may mature in their faith and manifest it through clear and courageous choices in life.

DAY 8: Saturday, June 22nd

Today we begin the eighth of nine days of Solemn Novena prayer with a prayer for healing. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, you pray for all of God’s children. Through your intercession, may all those who are sick find the hope of health and comfort in God.

DAY 9: Sunday, June 23rd

Today we mark the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time as we begin the ninth and final day of Solemn Novena prayer with an intention and prayer to St. Jude. We are so grateful for this time to offer our petitions. Intention to St. Jude: St. Jude, with confidence, hope, and a grateful heart I conclude these nine days of healing prayer. Help me to retain the hope in our Lord that sustained you in your life. On this final day of the Novena, give me the courage to follow Christ wherever He leads.
