Thanksgiving blessings from the National Shrine of St. Jude!

Dear Friend of St. Jude,

Thanksgiving greetings in the Lord!  Our faith calls us to be grateful always, and so we are blessed to have this time, a day set aside to give thanks for all that we have been given.  We invite you to thank God and those people around you who make your life special by placing a thanksgiving message on our St. Jude prayer wall.

As we reflect on the past year, there is much for which we can be grateful: many successes, some failings, many joyful times, and some painful ones—but all of them have brought us here, to this place and time. In this spirit of gratitude, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for the friendship we share in faith. Thank you for your courageous witness to the Gospel, and for the hope you share with the church and the world.

Our work as Claretians takes us to distant lands, or just down the street. Whatever the case may be, our vocation is to go where the need is greatest, to follow the call of Christ to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the sick. Thank you for joining with us. Please know that the Claretians pray with and for you and your intentions.

May God bless you and yours this Thanksgiving and always.

Yours in gratitude,

Father Mark, C. F. M.

Father Mark Brummel, C.M.F.
