Dear Friend of St. Jude,
In Sunday’s second reading, Paul details the virtues we must cultivate: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and above all else, love and gratitude. This reading presents a good examination of consciousness with regard to family life. When have we taken a harsher stance over kinder ones? In what moments have we neglected to express our gratitude for the things others do for us throughout the day? This is the courtesy we must have toward the members of our family because it is the only way to build, in our own home, the kingdom of truth and love that God desires.
We pray together: St. Jude, together we seek happiness and peace. Walk with me and my family, always protecting us from sin and harm.
Yours in prayer, |
Father Mark Brummel, C.M.F.
